Go Vype Subscriptions

Go Vype Subscriptions was an interesting project that required both UX and UI. I was assigned to create functional wireframes that could support colourful UI, that could also be sustainbly scaled from mobile to desktop.

I started by putting together a brief outline for the various journeys for users setting up a subscription with Vype. The purpose of this was merely to visualise the process more clearly before commencing the wireframes.

Next came the wires, which were adhered to pretty consistently in the final UI designs. The main focus was to minimise clicks and scrolls by incorporating sticky CTAs and also including visual checkpoints at the top of the screen so the user could not only orient themselves accurately without confusion, but ultimately see the end goal in sight (a successful subscription purchase).

Finally came the visuals. Colour palette was pre-determined (brand guidelines), but allocation of different colours to different call-to-actions was to create the associative link between product colour and button colour (purchase). These designs were approved by client and sent to development for build.
